SSR Panels are manufactured to any length and consists of two pre-stressed skins permanently bonded to a Hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD) treated Polystyrene core in a press using an adhesive. Other Core materials such as Polyurethane/Polyisocyanurate (PU/PIR) and Rock-wool (R/W) is also available. Lamination under pressure with 100% adhesive coverage gives the panel its impressive strength characteristics.
These panels combine the strength of a Standing Seam (male / female) joint with the insulation properties of a snug core to core fit. Various facing materials and finishes are available with frost white Chromadek as a standard. Typically, these panels are 1170mm wide with a thickness ranging from 40mm to 300mm. Panels are packed on pallets and can be loaded and unloaded in most situations using ordinary forklifts.
